After a very stressfull summer, I got re-hired. ironically to my old job.
I have been really busy and haven't had much time for surveys. Lately, I've been wondering why my money isn't going as far as it used to and then it dawned on me. I need to learn better time management skills. Surveys won't make you rich, but any amount applied to principal on debt, especially if it's consistent helps. My mortgage is a good example of this.
Cashcrate has added some games. You play against others for points which in turn you can trade in for prizes. They've also added an RSS feed and you can follow them on Twitter. They have a new facebook application to help with referrals. Now direct deposit is available for Silver and above members (50 active U.S. referrals)

Making extra money
I started using the Internet as a way of making money a few years ago. I've learned ads promising high survey payouts are usually scams. Unless you are an IT professional or are a very high wage earner who loves to shop, you probably won't get high paying surveys, but $5 surveys do add up quickly and can become a nice source of extra income.
An ad telling you, you can earn thousands is very enticing, but simply not true. GPT's, PTR's and surveys will not earn you enough where you can quit your job; they are just a nice source of supplemental income. As a SAHM, I really appreciated making extra money.
One thing I've noticed is that the 5 or 10 minute surveys often, but not always lead to product tests. These are a lot of fun. I've tested diapers, diaper rash cream, laundry detergent and many food products. We have also previewed a video game and some DVD's. Many times you get to keep the product. There have been some where they wanted me to return the product when finished, but they will provide you with a pre-paid envelope.
Survey companies pay you to get an honest opinion of their product; you should NEVER pay to join a survey company or to take a survey.
I have joined hundreds of survey companies and starting tracking my payments, so I can put my time and effort into those that are legitimate. I would like to share some of what I've learned in order to save you all the hard work I went through. Completing Offers
Click on "Complete Offers" in the Member's navigation bar. Click on the "Cash Offers" tab in the offers box.
Decide which offers you want to show and how you want to sort them. I recommend you show the '100% Free' offers and sort by 'Rating'. These offers are completely free to complete and the easiest offers come up on the top of the stack.
Now click 'Go!'. Note the description (which tells you how to complete the offer), then click on the offer name.
Complete the offer using truthful information.
After you're finished, close the window.You're done!
Go back to the offer table and click the 'Submit' button to the right of the offer you just completed. The offer will be added to your Pending list and removed from the offers table. Once confirmed (usually within a couple hours), the money will be moved to your monthly earnings and the offer will be put in your Completed offers table.

Completing Offers part 2: Tips & Tricks
1. Make your browser GPT friendly by having your browser set to accept all cookies. Some advertisers use a 3rd party tracking cookies which will be blocked if you have your setting on medium. This will not compromise computer security. This can be found under the tools tab under Internet options.
2. Allow pop-ups
3. Clear your temporary Internet files at the beginning of a session and cookies before and after each offer. The easiest thing to do is download ccleaner (http://www.cleaner.com/). Very fast and efficient
4. Rotate your e-mail address.
**there has been a problem with people getting banned from daily surveys because they rotated e-mails. Daily surveys and offers are 2 different things. When doing daily surveys you MUST use the same e-mail that you signed up with **
5. Don't do an offer for the same company the same day.
6. Check e-mail for confirmations
7. When you are doing offers, use the skip, No or No thanks button when you can. On some pages, you won't have this option and you have to pick at least 1 offer. Again, you can hit skip, No or No thanks. You DON'T have to do this offer. Once you get to the Gold/Platinum/Silver offers you're done.
Some members say that waiting 5 minutes before you submit helps I've also found that it helps your approval rate if you open the required # of offers and let them load. You DON'T have to do them.

E-poll

Paid to Click (PTC)
My points
With My points, you indicate which ads you would like to receive, they send them to you, you click on the ad, leave it up for a few minutes and your account is credited. Earn 5 points for just looking at the ad, but much more for taking advantage of the offer. You can also earn points for shopping through their link. Occasionally, they will send a survey where you earn 10 points for attempting the survey and 75 if you complete the survey. Payout is in gift cards or merchandise. I don't do much online shopping, so I've never done that. I only read the e-mails and take the occasional survey, even so I've been able to cash out a few times. Viewpoint forum has easy surveys that pay in points. Once you have 375 points that you can cash out. 375 points is $10. The surveys usually only take about 10-15 mins. They also do product tests. You can submit ideas for their weekly polls and if they pick your idea, you get 50 points

American Consumer Opinion offers many survey opportunities. They frequently send screeners which are very short, if you qualify for the longer survey they automatically send you a check. Zoompanel is great. The surveys are very easy to take, they send products to review, and they give you a little something in the event you don't qualify for the survey. They pay in points which are redeemable for merchandise. I cashed in several times for smaller prizes, but I'm saving them now so I can get one of the top prizes. The rechargable flashlight that plugs into the wall is great. Very handy in households where kids like to play with the flashlight. No more hunting around for batteries. I just got my husband a remote control boat for Father's Day. My in-laws have a home on a lake and I think he and the kids will have alot of fun with it.
